Hut to Hut in the Cariboo Mountains: This five or seven day hike in the Cariboo Mountains is an invigorating experience that will leave you feeling energized and renewed. The mountain range offers superb hiking through mature forests, alpine meadows and remote areas of craggy peaks, pristine lakes and refreshing streams. Participants will enjoy two or three very comfortable well-equipped alpine chalets strategically situated to showcase the deluge of magnificent scenery and mountainous terrain that they will be exploring. This is an intermediate level hike and hiking experience is recommended. Participants must be prepared to carry a 9 to 11kg pack.
Hike the West Coast Trail: Hiking this 75kms trail in Pacific Rim National Park is a delightful guided seven day backpacking trek along the most rugged and beautiful coastline in the world. Meet the challenge of hiking across streams, gullies, scrambling over fallen trees, slippery boulders and narrow logs, climbing precipitous ladders, and riding cable cars; all the while catching glimpses of Pacific gray whales, killer whales and sea lions off shore. This trail was originally constructed as a life saving trail by the government for shipwreck victims in the early 1900's. This trail is a moderate to difficult level hike. Hiking and backpacking experience is required. Participants must be able to hike 6-7 hours daily and carry a 22-25kg pack.
